You Would Think...

So After two weeks has passed since I told Time Warner to "Take their Cable and Shove it!", Who shows up on my doorstep this morning? The Guy who is supposed to "actually" fix the cable. So.... uh............

Now before I develop a tick in my eye, I calmly dish some answers from him.

I asked him "did you get this work order this morning"?

He Answers "yes" and then attempts to explain that he is a third party company that Time Warner Hires out.

Then I ask, "What is the date of the work order"?

He says, "August 24th"

AUGUST 24!

Today is October 2. What the hell happened to the entire month of September?

My wife and I had a pretty good laugh seeing how we understand the incompetence of this company and it's lack of communication between all of it's employees. This poor fellow was just trying to be punctual. Regretfully I had to tell him that we were never able to get cable, thus canceled the order due to the riduculous nature of how Time Warner Cable is run.

He laughed and agreed with me, then paused for a moment. "Do you want me to go ahead and fix the cable for any type service you are looking for in the future", he said. "They pay me for it any way".

After a brief pause I exclaimed, "Sure!" If Time Warner has to go out of pocket for it, why not!

I like making terrible companies pay for something that they should have fixed. This one is for all you little people out there that can't get any props from the this awful company.

I do understand I had a similar problem with Comcast. As a DISH subscriber and employee I can tell you that DISH Network is #1 in Customer Satisfaction among all cable and satellite TV providers. DISH beat Time Warner in Customer Satisfaction ten years in a row! I would definitely recommend that you check DISH out to see what we can offer you.
