Why Do I Even Care!

So this is follow up to the story just below.

After the guy tried to fix my coaxial cable (which is where the trouble was beginning) he mentioned that the cable is broken in such away that I needed to clear things with the city of Los Angeles.

I needed to clear things up?!?!?

what on earth could I do to get the city of Los Angeles, a metropolis buereaucratic nightmare, to fix my cable?

It's hard enough to contest a traffic ticket here!

So even after the company has completely F-ed up, they still can't do anything right.(what a surprise!) They would prefer me to go to the city and spend all my time cutting through red tape, so they can turn around and charge me up the wazoo.

When all is said and done, the service still wouldn't work. Why?

Beacause Time Warner Cable Sucks!

You Would Think...

So After two weeks has passed since I told Time Warner to "Take their Cable and Shove it!", Who shows up on my doorstep this morning? The Guy who is supposed to "actually" fix the cable. So.... uh............

Now before I develop a tick in my eye, I calmly dish some answers from him.

I asked him "did you get this work order this morning"?

He Answers "yes" and then attempts to explain that he is a third party company that Time Warner Hires out.

Then I ask, "What is the date of the work order"?

He says, "August 24th"

AUGUST 24!

Today is October 2. What the hell happened to the entire month of September?

My wife and I had a pretty good laugh seeing how we understand the incompetence of this company and it's lack of communication between all of it's employees. This poor fellow was just trying to be punctual. Regretfully I had to tell him that we were never able to get cable, thus canceled the order due to the riduculous nature of how Time Warner Cable is run.

He laughed and agreed with me, then paused for a moment. "Do you want me to go ahead and fix the cable for any type service you are looking for in the future", he said. "They pay me for it any way".

After a brief pause I exclaimed, "Sure!" If Time Warner has to go out of pocket for it, why not!

I like making terrible companies pay for something that they should have fixed. This one is for all you little people out there that can't get any props from the this awful company.
